How to Listen to Your Inner Intuition and Let Your Why Be Your Motivation As An Entrepreneur

A year ago I would have thought that it would be impossible for me to spontaneously take a trip and enjoy a balanced work/life relationship with having my business.

Little did I know...a year later, I would be living the life I wanted to create. The reason I started my business in the first place.

But let’s bring it to the present.

The other month I was crying on my group coaching mastermind call.

I was feeling defeated, burnt-out, and frustrated with so many things in my business.

I wasn't expecting to talk about, it let alone cry and get emotional. My coach intuitively knew I was having a lot of mind drama. She asked me what I knew deep in my gut that I needed.

I said out loud, "I need time and space."

Not even three days later, I woke up on Saturday morning to a message that I had won the first prize sweepstakes for a business retreat in Hawaii.

And it started the next day.

Talk about divine timing and the universe giving you exactly what you need and ask for.

So many thoughts and emotions began flooding my mind.

And my mind of course started coming up with a million excuses and ways to stay inside my comfort zone.

"But you have responsibilities and appointments next week."

"You can't just up and leave in less than 24 hours."

"You'd have to reschedule and get coverage for things."

Sure, it would have been "easier" for me to stay home and continue with my normal routine. Sure it would be "harder" to move things around, book last-minute flights, and go to a place I'd never been to with people I'd never met before doing things I'd never done before...

But then I remembered this is WHY I started my business in the first place.

💻 To work wherever I wanted whenever I wanted.

🌴 To travel and experience new cultures and people.

🌎 To explore the world and new cultures.

🤩 To live life on my own terms.

I tuned in to the fact that this was the universe giving me exactly what I asked for and needed.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to listen and heal my mind, body, soul, and business.

All it took was deciding to make it happen and everything fell into place.

My week and workload cleared up and got lighter.

I rescheduled appointments.

I moved some things around.

I booked my flights.

It became that easy.

So here's your sign to listen to yourself and the universe.

Do the crazy thing and challenge yourself to step outside of your comfort zone.

Bring yourself back to WHY you wanted this life for yourself.

When life presents you with an opportunity, say YES!

If you're feeling frustrated or down about entrepreneurship...keep going!

There are going to be different seasons and phases in this journey, but little by little you're building the life you want for yourself.
