Top 3 Places To Visit In Sweden

  1. Brännö, Gothenburg Archipelago

This is the most beautiful (according to myself) place in Sweden. The Swedish summer is never better than on a picturesque, west coast island with smooth cliffs, cute wooden houses, and gorgeous nature. I love the calmness which surrounds the island, which is free of cars, making cycling a great way to get around! At Brännö, many of your new favourite places are just waiting to be discovered.

2. Tree Hotel, Harads.

This unique place in the northern Swedish province of North Bothnia (swedish translation: Norrbotten) truly deserves a place on this list. Tree Hotel is not merely a hotel, it is much more than that. Nestled amongst the pine trees in the northern Swedish forest, there are seven unique, architect-designed rooms with their own personal mark. Here, you may stay inside of a UFO, a bird’s nest, or a cube covered in mirrors which serves as camouflage within the surrounding nature. Tree Hotel focuses on environmental sustainability and the destination is very popular among the stars; the likes of Justin Bieber, Kate Moss, and Elijah Wood have made their way to this northern destination to experience a stay.

3. Ice Hotel, Jukkasjärvi.

To sleep on reindeer bedding in the world’s largest art exhibition entirely made of snow and ice, might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This experience is offered outside of the northernmost town in Sweden (i.e., Kiruna), in the little village of Jukkasärvi. Tourists from all corners of the world come here to experience the incredible art. The ice hotel is rebuilt every winter, using water from the nearby Torne river, and melts away each spring. It is a magical experience to spend a night in an ice suite, though it comes with a price tag. If you do not wish to stay the night, you may simply visit the hotel during the daytime.
