Meet Your Guide

Hi, there! My name is Victoria and I will be your guide today. I am a historian and photographer running my own blog @victoriaalicestewart My parents have been taking me to heritage sites since I was a little girl and I fell completely in love with the past back then! I enjoyed the subject at school too, and so, I decided to study history at university. We will learn about many incredible women today but Mary Queen of Scots has been my favourite figure in history for many years now! I love the debates which exist surrounding her reign and her downfall, and I’m fascinated with researching queenship in general – I love researching powerful females; it’s so inspirational to learn about women’s roles in past generations.
